2bular Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hello everyone (in Dr Nick voice/accent - my hero ). Thanks to Graham for the invite to join the forum. Received my 2013 calendar today, so that penetrated the fog of Paracetamol (flu!) - very nice! If anyone needs any info/advice on exhausts - please ask! I have a new website coming along soon (not too keen on the present one!) and I hope to have a better/clearer layout. NOISE is a big issue these days and takes up a lot of my brainpower these days - used to be bhp/torque but not so much now, sadly. Still looking for a new Elise S (2zr) owner who can let me sort out a complete new exhaust (4-1 + Cat + system) for him/her - free of course. Cheers! Jim Valentine 2bular exhausts.
Martin R Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Jim, welcome to MLOC. Thanks also for the banner ad. People like you help keep MLOC going and it is much appreciated
Numbnutz Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hello Jim - wouldn't you rather a Honda to do a 4-1? I already have a cat and zorst! One of yours .... 100 cell race cat and GT3 H2 Please excuse the tape on the tail pipe - didn't want to scratch it when fitting. These honda's sound loud on vtec tho.
Numbnutz Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Sounds lovely on or off cam - there is a certain spot before full throttle or vtec that sounds quite different and sort of exotic ... love it - just hope its not too noisy on track, as I've not had it noise tested yet - so I've no idea.
2bular Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Thank you chaps! He He - "quiet is the new loud" - bit depressing though, trying to get a tuned sportscar to sound like a hoover. Looks like a packed exhaust bay there Dave! Honda conversions - I love a challenge but .............sheesh - time, time, time.
2bular Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 They'll let anyone in these days lol :-) Says CarbonMan
Numbnutz Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Looks like a packed exhaust bay there Dave! Honda conversions - I love a challenge but .............sheesh - time, time, time. It is a bit packed in there, but only because the link up manifold comes in a bit too far than it really needs to, resulting in having to mount the exhaust 2.5cm further back. But a nice new shinny 2Bular 4-1 Honda manifold that accomodates 2.0 and frankenstein 2.4 would be popular I'm sure. ;o)
