hmm,
Has the new vvc motor popped its cloggs?

Thought id check the oil today, little bit of mayo on the stick.

small amount of mayo under the cap too.

Coolant is clean.

Its been stood around in the rain all christmas whilst ive done all four wheel bearings. Is condensation too much to ask for?
After a week off the road i drove 3 10 min journeys, and 2 40 min journeys before noticing it this morning.

You will soon know once you start using it for work again.  Should burn off within a couple of trips.

Fingers crossed for you mate. I have just replaced camshaft seals and the timing belt. Had a whine afterwards that turned out to be the alternator.

I hope this is not the case, but I have tended to see condensation at the highest point. However if you have had it parked up for ages it might have been quite bad.

Cheers jimbo. Gonna taker her for a good run tomorrow. Checked after two 30 mile trips today and nothing under the filler cap and only a real small amounr on the dipstick pip

Driving through kegworth toward Loughborough, running lovely then noticed temp had gone up to 119deg C pulled over, no water in header tank.
Checked oil via filler and dip stick, looks like milk.
Had it just shy of 2 months. Rang Christopher Neil should be going back mid to end of week

Haha I doubt it. Going for the doors to be replayed as well as they have blistered. Gotta ring up Monday and arrange having it collected
