I only knew Matt as Matt but after checking some emails..... This is terribly news, he was without a doubt a true petrol head, one of us. He was the sort of person anyone at any time straight from the off could get on with. I had met him on several occasions working for BaT, he was always friendly and had more than enough time for a chat. Markyb and I spent a few chance days with him at the Nurburg after Spa Aug 09, he was with his Mrs. We had an absolute blast one evening on the Nurburg GP, a real scream ending perfectly sat around a table eating steak on a stone with a beer, as you do. I am so so sorry, my condolences to his family and friends from Marky and I.
