Are you building a boot back in? How much weight does the rear cf clam save?

No it'll have no boot. The saving stands at 17kg without reinforcements for mounts, areo catches and stuff so maybe 12-13kg when finished.

That is a very good saving. I have a lightweight fibreglass Exige front clam on mine which saved about 6kg over an original Exige one. So to save double that on what is a larger piece is great.

Wondering how they shim the clam to fit when it does not appear to touch the rear sub frame? sure its escaping me but when I refitted my rear clam that was where most of the adjustment was!

Nice. I have never understood why they are all not made in this configuration. EBD and Eliseparts ones are like that. Why some manufacturers cross the primaries i dont know?
