Martin R Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Walshy will put you right at Carlimits. To reach its full potential you really need to do a trackday. Unless you are mad you cant use anymore than a small percentage of the potential on the road.
darryl Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Best thing any new (Lotus) owner can do is get some driver training then track day, you will be surprised at how much more of a grin you will get when road driving! MO; Especially before spending money on upgrading which is usually only limited by your bank account, having now owned many variants of the Elise/Exige; can honestly say even a standard car will give a big grin, what I will say having spent (possibly the national debt of some countries on extensivily modifying our Esprit) is if you intend to keep the car then mod till your budget runs out as you may not recover (all) the cost when you sell, if you are likely to sell sooner rather than later then upgrade by moving up the Lotus car ladder! And welcome to the Exige (boy racing club)

And welcome to the Exige (boy racing club) I am looking at book myself in at Car Limits in December. Like you say no point having extra horses if you cant drive them properly (note: no animals were harmed in my 'driving' of horses comment)
scatty Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 its a lot cheaper to follow dean on one of our runs.... chuck andy into the equation and every base will be covered... still places for donington 30th december....
darryl Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 follow Dean that would mean Dean driving a little slower might be easier to sit next to Dean on a run like your sense of humour harmy!
DeanB Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I don't know what you chaps are talking about! Some other Dean surely...
