Stu, not serious i hope ? There was a worrying amount of smoke from the rear on the Green flag lap.

All oil that should be in the engine, was all over the undertray and engine bay. Don't know why yet. Oil pressure light didn't come on, so think a seal or something has gone in the top end of engine. Was coming out the top of the timing belt cover too!! Went straight after the practice start of the green flag lap.

Time for a full rebuild me thinks. Going to have a chat with a few local engine builders and see if they can fix and maybe upgrade a bit too.

Sounds like cam seal or oil pump seal. The cam belt may have been dragging it up the engine.

Always a good day watching the Elise racing. Eventful as ever       It just so happens we are in Norfolk on holiday when the next one is at Snetterton.

Fortunately noticed it was on the way and managed to avoid him..Pretty close though, great corner as you can launch it in over the kerb then spend the rest of the corner on a tweak of oppo...... Did spin there in Quali too.
