Anyone own or previosly owned an Evo X FQ330 or a 5 door Scooby, will possibly be getting rid of the company car beginning of next year and looking to replace with a 4WD car that is reasonably fun to drive in winter / damp/wet roads. What are they like to live with as a daily drive?
We have discounted the Mini AWD too small occasionally we need to take Sue's/my parents to airport with associated bags & suitcases, and the Audi RS3 did not handle as well as i hoped on damp roundabout; no off but not very inspiring.

Kind regards,

This AWD mini?
Personally, I can't stand the Mini Countryman. I parked next to one a while ago and it absolutely dwarfed my car... thing is I was in my Honda Accord (which you certainly could get parents + bags and suitcases in)!

4 years of S1 Elise ownership.
GGP shocks, PRT, headlamps, refurbed suspension, 2 'C' services, 1 Lakes meet, 10000 miles, one irresponsible driver in a car-park, an insurance claim and a full re-spray... and windows that go UP & DOWN!

I used to have an Sti darryl before I got the Exige. Brilliant car. My mates got an Evo 9, he had an X previously so that tells you something. Great car, he just thinks the 9 is considerably better. If the Exige went I'd plump for an fq360.
The scoob is basically slightly cheaper to run, service intervals wise. But loads of space and day to day a joy. I had mine for 4 years. A dream in the snow and wet. Loads of places around here to get it serviced. Have a nosey on litchfields website, that's where I got mine.
A search on MLR will give any info on the Evo X.

Deffo styled better. With stronger internals if you want to mod it.
Plump for the scoob snd get a nice hawkeye spec c, lovely!!!!!! Or the 330s newer hatchback isn't three bad. The newer ones tend to have the £400 road tax. If check before you buy, it would break my heart forking out for that...,

...cheers Steve.
Really pleased with mine, had it 5 years now. Daily drive and it never disappoints when you want to have a bit of a play too. Servicing is not too bad, and i'm talking main dealers, 10k intervals. MIne's a wrx, and i get best part of 30mpg normally. Not had any problems with it really worthy of a mention, and it doesn't seem to attract any unwanted attention either. As scatty mentioned road tax is pretty bad at 400+ notes a year though!
