Hi All
New engine installed and fully dressed, however will not crank seems to be alarm imobiliser related but i may be wrong. I am confident all wiring is connected correctly (lots of photos before removal). the imobiliser LED goes out when i press the fob button but if try to manually set the alarm the siren is triggered, when alarm set automatically it does not sound off when i press fob the LED goes out i insert key and turn but 'no crank' i can hear a relay click (not starter solenoid) but starter motor will not crank. Any thoughts welcome

Is the battery fully charged ? Do you have 12v at the starter when the relay clicks ?
Ready for some summer rumbling :-)

to help with martin's train of thought above, if the battery is low all the dash lights will go out when you turn the key, normally they stay on during cranking.
also when you turn to the ignition on position, do you hear the fuel pump run for about 5 seconds? if not then i'd check battery voltage before looking for bigger issues.
