Hammered Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 First issue with my 06 111R. When warm its idling at speeds between 1500 and 3000rpm, it is fitted with drive by wire throttle. Having just done a bit of research on seloc I think I have an idea what the cause may be. The guy I bought the car from has changed the ECU saying it was a motor sport version from an Exige. I am suspecting it was an older car and older software. He did give me the original ECU as well so I have the option to refit that or maybe take it to someone and have the software updated ??? Any advice welcome. I dont want to go to main dealers, does anyone know of a reliable specialist in the Barnsley/Sheffield area ??? Cheers Rich
winthattt Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I don't think there is any difference between the two ECUs. You may as well try it. I think there as been chat on Seloc about high idle speed. My s2 exige idles at low speeds when cold.
