It's under a heavy rain that the GP2 Series qualifying session took place today in Hockenheim. After having put a good performance during the practice session, Lotus GP drivers fought for the pole during the 30 minutes of the qualifying session.
In the end, James Calado got the 2nd best time of the day, a few thousands off the pole. Esteban Gutierrez could do better than 9th. Both drivers will have to add a 10 position penalty to their result of the day.
The start of the race will be at 15h40 tomorrow.
