Anyone make it up to the rally stage? We never made it as the tractors weren't running Saturday and I wasn't going to push a pram all the way up but there is usually some great antics to watch.

My lad & I made it up to the rally stage. We were a bit disappointed really, there seemed to be long gaps between the cars when there wasn't much happening. I did enjoy the walk through the woods though, with the scream of the F1 cars on one side, and the cackle & bangs of the WRC cars on the other. There can't be many other places in the world where you can hear both at the same time!

We actually prefered the off-roading. There were a load of Bowlers & V8 Land Rovers tearing round one course, and little off-road buggies tearing round the other. They were entertaining to watch, particularly as we also had the Eurofighters overhead at the same time.

I'll try to upload one or two of our photos later, if I get chance.

And finally, on the way home on Sunday we went to Beaulieu Motor Museum, including the 'Bond In Motion' exhibition and the 'World Of Top Gear':

Looks like Matt Neal isn't bothered if he looses his sunglass! matrix.gif

Beaulieu is a nice place, in a beautiful part of the world as well! Some great cars there and the TG and JB displays are good.
