darryl Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Not shy to complain about the standard of service from a certain local dealer (no longer with us) in the past would like to thank Mark and his team Purchased our new Elise SC last July from Stratstone's Finally got the little car in for its 1000M service yesterday; a couple of minor issues being taken care of last Saturday by Ian Whilst waiting for the service it's self to be carried out yesterday; with a coffee and a good chat regarding the up-coming Exige (V6) S and a good look at the Evora S +2 with IPS (looking forward to a demo drive Mark) Again a big thank you to all at Stratstone Leicester

G Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Car in at stratstone today for a pair if rear tyres and aircon refresh, glad it was just a regas and no problems. Dont agree with the comments above, all the guys are great at strats, knowledgable and sincere and do know their stuff, helped me out no end with problems over the last 3 years. Cant fault them. Even washed the car today which was a nice touch.

Even washed the car today which was a nice touch. can't comment on Silverstone's Cup 260 had its yearly service a couple of weeks ago and car goes back to Strat's in a couple of weeks for suspension works called by Lotus Hopefully Ian will get a good outcome on the oil filter/cooler (speaking with Lotus on warrantee) unit, that Yorkshire dealer failed to diagnose fault with properly at last years service

Ian in service, John the mechanic and Mark the dealer principle are really great guys. Recommend them highly. Just hope the Lotus situation improves for them.
Chris_edeson Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 iv got to say strats have been superb to me of late.... car went in with dodgy resistor pack.... gave me an evora s while they had it. when i came back they couldnt fix it due to mine being a random part so they got it ordered and booked me back in. when it went back in they found out my radiator was faulty and that i needed some cooling fans & pipes replacing. they did all this all off their own back, could have left it 3 months till my car was out of warrenty and charged me but they didnt. always honest and fair with me. they also gave me a new 1.6 elise for the few days they had mine. Mark, Ian in service and John the mechanic all great guys. on my 2nd elise from them and always been looked after.

darryl Posted July 15, 2012 Author Posted July 15, 2012 A big thank you to Mark and his team for an excellent job with the Cup 260 although the car does not feel any different with the Lotus recalled suspension upgrade works; although may not being saying that when we get her back on a track day. Also like to take this opportunity to thank Ian for speaking on our behalf to get the oil filter/cooler pick up sandwich plate replaced under Lotus warranty although the car was not in the 2 year time frame. Thanks again chaps & ladies at Stratstone
