That's me in the blue Elise. I've been an owner now for about 18 months and this was my first track day - I've got to say I was truly blown away by it all. I've definitely got the bug!

I found my confidence increased 10 fold through the day. By the last session I was flying even though I managed a 360 spin on the corner before the dunlop straight - exactly the point where someone earlier put their 08 Impretza into the tyre wall. Was it a mistake taking the power off when I felt it over steer?

My girlfriend, who bought me the track day as a present, said I was acting like an excited school boy when I got back. I certainly felt like one. The first of many me thinks.

Any chance you could email me the full resolution photos if I PM you with my email address?

Lift off oversteer is not nice. You are supposed to keep your foot in and opposite lock. The natural reaction is to lift off though.

This is from the man who has spun as much as most though

This is the man you want HTH

hello there, I was at Donnington that day in my black E30 BMW. I don't suppose you have any photos of my car by any chance?

I was in the same session as BigTed and noticed his increase in pace throughout the day

thanks

Scott

This is the only picture I managed to find with you on - notice how you're behind me ;-) Must be the only time you weren't going sideways! If you want me to email the full image drop me a PM with your email address.
