Currently set up for production-class racing within the Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup UK series, this car is a 2005 Toyota-engined Elise 111R which has been fully revised for racing and incorporates a vast array of safety and uprated, yet production-compliant motorsport components. The car is currently ready for the 2012 Elise Trophy Season but due to the high-specification of build, it is also compliant with a number of UK and European mixed class championships.

The car was built and developed during the Summer of 2011 and has completed one all-comers endurance race at the end of the 2011 season at Spa. During this first race - www.theraceatspa.com the car finished 2nd Place in Class, 8th Overall (of 18). Driven by Andrew Bentley with support from Hangar 111. This race proved that the car can achieve lap times within the top 3 cars in the Elise Trophy production classes.

I have a sports exhaust that came off my 111R a couple of years ago. I was the second owner of the car and the exhaust was dealer fitted by the first owner (who know).

I has been inside in my garage ever since.

I am fairly sure it is made by Larini.

It produces a lovely noise and makes the kick when the cam changes even harder - I always felt the engine went better in the higher rev range with this exhaust on. It also burbles beautifully when you take your foot off and there is the occasional pop too (which I loved!)
