Not the happiest message to post on here, however, here goes...

I wanted to know if anyone fancied taking on one of our dogs?

She is called 'Beano' and is a 2 year old Liver spotted Dalmation.

She has a fantastic temperment and loves children, is house and crate trained, fairly obedient when she wants to be or if there is food about (!), has been spade and is up to date with jabs etc. The only downside to her is she does not travel well in a car so whoever takes her on needs to expect some throwing up on the journey home.

We have another Dalmation called 'Dandy' who is half deaf but does not trust anyone (so he's not going anywhere as all he wants to do is sit by my feet and be fussed) but to cut a long story short we were advised to get him a partner to help him become more confident and Beano has done that, however, together they are just too much for my wife to deal with as I am away with work alot and they constantly compete for attention.

We can easliy manage just Dandy but want to ensure she goes to a good home where she will be loved and cared for. I have some pictures I can send if you are interested and you are welcome to visit and see her also.

We do not want anything for her only the assurance that she will be well looked after and loved.

It's going to be a wrench to see her go and I feel both incredibly sad and guilty to find myself writing this email.

Sorry news indeed.... if we had a hosue not a flat, i'm sure we'd take her on!

However, I'll forward the details on to the vet surgery that my other half works at, they can put a notice up if you wish?

Sad to hear this. They get under your skin dont they.

We had a dobermann for 11 years and when we lost him it was just so hard.

We dont really want to go through that again just yet, but my wife will ask about for you.

Sadly last year we lost the Rottweiler and this year we just lost the Jack Russell as well.

The Rottweiler we had time to say good by to, but the JR was running around one day and them critical the next. Never got the chance to say good bye to her sadly.

It is all a bit to soon for us as we have got a massive vets bill to clear.

If it had of been a bit later on we would have given it some consideration.

But best of luck with it. You will miss her when she is gone. I also think that to part the two dogs now will see a big down turn in the remaining dog. we saw this when the Rottie went. I did think that the JR would have loved the extra attention being on her own. but I think that she missed the Rottie more IMHO.

Got 3 Great Danes here and i think I would be sent packing if i came home with a Dally! Have you tired posting on champdogs or a Dally forum - you will have no problem on one of those - there are normally people looking for a second or third and dont want the hard work of puppy training!
