For me,there is no journey too short to take the Lotus on!!! Spending more on fuel is my way of contributing to a very unworthy charity....called the Labour Party.

Ps - What is a mountain bike and is it front or rear wheel drive??!!!??

i used to be more positive when i first owned mine, but although i still love the car totally, the need to drive it 24hrs a day does wear off eventually.

dont get me wrong, its still lovely to drive it, but not in bad weather, got that t shirt, its not much fun.

it is getting harder and harder to enjoy yr driving 'on the roads' which for me is a big problem as although I do track day I mostly drive on the roads. everyday actually.

I must say that the petrol prices, rises in car duty etc etc just rub salt into the wounds. most of the roads i drive everyday are in a terrible state and these are main drags, not back roads. even in some soft sprung yank mobile you'd lose yr fillings!! with all the tax we pay our roads on the whole should be billiard table smooth. as for speeds bump etc the fact that this causes vehicles to be driven in the most environmentally unfriendly fashion i.e. stopping and starting, just makes the f*cking things worse.

I must admit that for the first time in my 3 years of ownership I have started to think about whether or not I can continue with the car. I can't really can't afford to have it just as a runabout/track car but driving it on crap roads, being stuckin traffic, watching for crafty bastard cameras all do nothing for me. It angers me because we all work like crazy to enjoy something just a little bit, to have that slowly taken away from you kinda sucks the big one.

I can only hope mister brown has a cunning plan to repeal all these taxes just as a general election comes round otherwise he a snowballs chance in hell of seeing number 10 again.

agreed, ...dont worry about mr brown, he's a millionaire, what does it all matter to him, his expenses paid for by us covers the day to day living costs he faces. therefor everything is just sweet  ....isnt it?
