Deleted_User Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Looking at B&C's site I notice that they are now selling iPod holders Anyone know exactly where this fits ?? http://www.bell-colvill.co.uk/LotusShop/De...?Id=A120U0094F#
Ladders Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I saw one in the New S I think. It seemed to be slotted into an aliminium holder a little like the S2 Shelf dividers you can get scott.
Deleted_User Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 Cheers Dave, so the iPod sits horizontally on the shelf. I'll stick with my Halfords chavy sticky cup next to the handbrake

I put some of that non-slip mat in the tray, but that still moves about!

sootysteve Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 no expense spared there then, bit of rubber/sponge?
FlyingExige Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 I Velcro my iPod to the back of the shelf. Quick and easy to fit/remove and it can't be seen, head unit control means I never have to touch it while driving.
AnthT Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 my solution display with artwork, album, artist and track names just album artwork I think this view will get used a lot the Ipod holder that I made with some bits from maplin
Ladders Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 That's cool ant! How much and what ipod interface does it use? You tried plugging the iPhone in?
Deleted_User Posted November 19, 2007 Author Posted November 19, 2007 Ant - very very nice. Couple of questions... 1. Did you make the box for the iPod to slot into? I reconise the box, it is exactly the same as we use in the office to fit manufacture small PCB gizmos into. 2. What model number is your Alpine head unit EDIT: 3. You sure you aint got a Delorean - 2008??

Lakey Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 no expense spared there then, bit of rubber/sponge? I used that stuff that florests use, cut it to fit in the tray, covered in sticky back plastic and attach the I pod with velcro. True Blue Peter Style.
