Can't agree with you more there, the hidden bits do add up, 6 months sounds good, I think in total it took mine nearly a year, thankfully in stages.. Will be nice to see some pics now..

Stu - It's the full exige kit (clams, roof, wheels, spoiler etc). Word of warning to anybody considering it, the amount of 'little' bits that also need changing is amazing, the list just kept getting longer (wheel arch liners, roof liner, front grill, rear slates, boot struts, roof rubbers etc etc). I've spent a lot of time hunting around for second hand parts as the prices from lotus were ridiculous, for example a front grill for an exige (same as a 111s) was something like £114 +vat!
maybe.....just a few little bits that I took off the last mx5, harness bar, harnesses, smaller steering wheel, removed the seat cushioning so I can actaully fit in it with a helmet on! uprated front pads, new rear pads and an oil change. All ready to go now
Hi Miles,
sounds like a thorough job then, congrats!! There are loads of minor changes between cars, have you gone for full alloy bulkhead too, or, left the glass in?? Have you got Exige wheels too?? I seem to remember the offsets were different too to fill the wider arches?!
Will be good to have a nosey when done....

I've left the glass in, and I found some original Exige wheels or as you say it wouldn't fill the arches properly. I was tempted by the speedlines but I managed to find some second hand Exige wheels which I was really pleased about.
Chorlton - 6 months feels bad enough, not sure what I'd be like after a year
Dave - It did cross my mind that it had only been 18 month since the respray, but the opportunity came up on the exige clams so I decided what the hell!!
