Hi all you lovely MLOC people. We're hopefully going to create a series of teaser videos for Lotus in the Peak 2024 and post them onto social media. Maybe you have suitable footage that could be used, or if you have ideas for getting more then please let us know. Ok, so my 2006 S2 has no handbrake cover. Looks like that's how most come out of the factory. Gear shift has the standard perforated leather. Im looking at the option of getting a HB cover, preferably to match the gear leaver cover, looking to keep it as OEM as possible. What have other owners done with their handbrakes? Aftermarket to match? Or a set to swap out for a new look? Nearly all I have seen go over the top and outside. Any neat ones that tuck inside the HB slot? Show us what you got.......

Firstly, I just thought I’d make a post to say thanks for letting me join, seems like a friendly forum. I don’t own an Elise currently, but ever since I had some passenger laps around donington park as a teenager a good 15 years ago I’ve always wanted one. Currently have an mr2 and want to stick with a Toyota engine, so I gather I’m looking at an S or 111r model? Hope to see some people at some meets soon.

Hi MLOC, it's been a while since I frequented these parts. I hope you are all well?! I'm looking to tidy up Bucket (my very 'used' S1) and looking for a LH sill. Anyone got an idea of where to procure one from, I've done the usual google search which throws up ones you can't buy anymore, or, still glued to a crashed S1. Any ideas welcome, Cheers Stu

I posted on another forum and was told my issue is osmosis (sounds like a bad dose of something) which will require a non diy job ? was recommended a lotus specialist in Maidenhead but it’s unpractical so is there anyone in midlands ?

A number of you will have met my dog Badger. He attended LITP 2022 and several Sunday morning ride outs. Sadly my wingman passed away last night. It was going to be his 14th birthday on Sunday 17th March and I was going to organise and bring him along for a ride out. Would give anything for that opportunity now. Hi all, just realised that I never said hello when I joined last year. After running a couple of track only k-series Elise's for my brother and I , I've just picked up an exige and was wondering if anyone knew what coilovers it's running. As my 2008 S Elise departed with its new owner today, am pleased to say I am now the owner of this rather lovely 2000 genuine John Player Special type 79. In a while it will be going into my garage next to my type 49.

The forums are a bit quiet at the moment, so thought I'd fire up a new thread with a whirlwind tour of my Lotus journey . Mine started back in 2006 with this ex-Lotus 2006 Exige S (a 2ZZ screamer with a very addictive chain saw supercharger sound-track) in Storm Titatium, bought from Nick Wale Sports Cars in Bromsgrove... Next up was 2007 and a brand new Elise R (with N/A 2ZZ screamer) in Canyon Red with cream leather interior, bought from Lipscomb down in Maidstone.
